Base Metals- Trade Takes LME Metals Lower

As optimism over a trade agreement between the US and China turned to pessimism, the prices of the base metals that trade on the London Metals Exchange moved lower, across the board. In my latest work for Seeking Alpha, I look at the price action in copper, aluminum, nickel, lead, zinc, and tin, and suggest that there could be lots of price volatility on the horizon at the end of June when President Trump and Xi meet or do not meet, in Japan to discuss the current status of trade between their nations.
