The strike in Escondida, the world’s biggest copper-producing property in Chile, ended a few weeks ago. In my latest work for Seeking Alpha, I explain why copper has not moved aggressively lower in the wake of the strike settlement and why the action by the workers and union may be a strategic move that will cause BHP a lot more aggravation in the months ahead which could be bullish for the price of the red metal.
