The WCF is making a $100 million investment in Ghana to create sustainability of cocoa supplies for chocolate consumers around the world. In my latest article for Seeking Alpha, I review the reasons for the investment and explain why the short-term outlook for cocoa beans could mean a period of price consolidation between the $2300 and $2600 per ton level on the September ICE futures contract.
