Copper experienced a technical rally at the end of September rising to highs of $2.2190 on the final day of the third quarter. In my latest article for Seeking Alpha, I explain why the stronger dollar and weak fundamentals caused copper to fail on the upside for the fourth time since March and how the latest failure could be problematic for copper which is still historically expensive at a price north of $2 per pound.
