Copper Takes The Stairs Up and The Elevator Down

The price of copper broke out to the upside in late July above its resistance level at $2.8320 per pound on the nearby COMEX futures contract. In my latest article for Seeking Alpha, I review how copper took the stairs up to the highest price since 2014 over six weeks and has taken the elevator down since September 5 and review the prospects for the red metal over the coming days and weeks.
