The first round of the French election is in the books and now the markets will prepare for the final contest which pits Macron against Le Pen for the Presidency of one of the strongest E.U. member nations. In my latest article for Seeking Alpha, I explain why I believe that markets may have gotten ahead of itself celebrating the Macron victory given the trend that started last year in the U.K. and U.S. and why all those sighs of relief in the halls of the European Union are premature, at best.
