The February WASDE report from the USDA was not all that bullish as the Department of Agriculture confirmed huge carryover stocks and a record 2016 crop in corn, soybeans, and wheat. In my latest work for Seeking Alpha, I explain why the prices of all three of the primary grain markets moved higher in the wake of the most recent WASDE and why a lot hangs on the 2017 crop year that will commence in a few short weeks.
