Grains rose to highs in late June and early July as a drought scare in the Dakotas and Montana caused the price of wheat to rally and corn and soybeans followed. In my latest piece for Seeking Alpha, I examine the latest bearish WASDE report and the price reaction in the grain markets that appear to have run out of selling after a summer when the markets moved appreciably lower during the growing season that yielded the fifth straight year of bumper crops.
