Sugar declined from highs of 23.90 cents per pound in October 2016 to lows of 12.53 cents in late June as the deficit in the sugar market turned into a surplus at prices north of 20 cents. In my latest article for Seeking Alpha, I examine the current state of the sugar futures market and explain why I believe scale down buying during periods of price weakness is the way to approach the market over the coming weeks.
