Lumber Is One Of The Few Industrial Markets The Rallies After The Fed Cuts Rates

Lumber futures suffer from low volume and open interest making the industrial commodity virtually untradeable. However, the price of wood can be an excellent guide to the path of other industrial commodity prices as it tends to move higher or lower before the other assets. In my latest article for Seeking Alpha, I look that the price action in the lumber market and explain why buying a company that acts as a REIT with a call option on lumber could be the best way to participate in the wood market.
