  • Copper up 0.56% adding to recent gains
  • Iron ore explodes 7.10% higher for the week
  • The Baltic Index moved 8.6% higher
  • Lumber down 1.03% on the week
  • WTI crude oil edges 0.26% lower after trading above $50 per barrel on September futures
  • Brent down just 0.10%
  • Gasoline posts a small gain of 0.09% and heating oil gains 0.56% on the week as products outperform crude oil
  • Crack spreads higher – gasoline crack up 0.77% and heating oil crack gains 2.09 % on the week
  • Natural gas declines 5.74% on the week despite improving fundamentals
  • Ethanol rises 1.42% for the week
  • Soybeans plunge 5.55% on the week
  • Corn falls 1.80%
  • CBOT wheat down another 5.46% for the week
  • Sugar falls 1.60% this week
  • Coffee up 1.67% on the week
  • Cocoa down 3.20% on the week
  • Cotton up 2.65% for the week
  • FCOJ down 0.73% on the week
  • Live cattle moves 1.49%¬†higher for the week
  • Feeder cattle up 2.55%
  • Hogs post a marginal gain of 0.41% on the week
  • The dollar index reverses in Friday after jobs report posting a 0.32% gain on the week after making a new low on Wednesday at 92.39
  • September long-Bonds move higher and close at 154-07 up 1-02 on the week but lower than the highs
  • Dow Jones Industrial Average closes on Friday, August 4, at 22,093 up 263 points on the week at a new record high
