Tariffs Weigh On Cotton, But The Bullish Trend Remains Intact

Cotton recently traded to a high of 96.50 cents per pound, but the price has come back down to the 84 cents per pound level. In my latest piece for Seeking Alpha, I look at the cotton futures market and explain why, despite the tariffs situations which is weighing on the price of the fiber, we are likely to see $1 per pound by sometime in 2019 or earlier.
